Meet the Team

Carrera Lopez

Carrera is an East bay native and our fantastic registered dental assistant. She has been in orthodontics since completing her RDA training 6 years ago. Sweet and dedicated, she will instantly make you feel at ease with her bubbly personality and the wealth of knowledge she has in the field. In her free time, she loves hitting the trails with her doggie Lucy, catching a Raiders game, or hanging out with her family and baby niece.

Qiana Velarde

Qiana is our patient care coordinator who has over 10 years of orthodontic experience and has a passion to see patients smile. Though she has worn many hats along her orthodontic journey, her priority is always making sure everyone’s experience is personal and special. She will greet you with a smile on her face from your first initial phone call. In her spare time, she loves serving her community and enjoys family time with her husband and children.

Sky Harris

Sky is our newest team member at Burlingame Smile Studio. She is the friendly face you will see at the reception desk when you come in for your orthodontic appointments. Sky is quite new to the Bay Are having recently moved from Michigan. When she’s not at the office you will find her at school, continuing her education with a major in marketing and minor in sociology. She is an enthusiastic individual who is thrilled to help all our patients with their orthodontic needs. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring and exploring new places among her friends and family.

Jasmin Rodriguez

Jasmin is our new friendly treatment Coordinator. She is very dedicated and dependable to her patients making sure they have the best experience possible from the start of treatment to finish. She is eager to answer all your financial questions and concerns. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her eight-year-old daughter and going on walks and hikes with her dog.

Teddy – Mascot

Teddy is our cutest and fluffiest member of the team. He likes to take naps behind the front desk in what is affectionately known as “doggie jail”. Likely he will pop his head up to greet you when you check in for your appointment at the front desk. If you are a fan of puppies then feel free to come around and pet and play with him before or after your appointment. If doggies aren’t your cup of tea, no need to worry he can’t escape since the gate is nice and sturdy!
